Wanderlust

I can feel these words circling in my head like mystic waters tickled by a breeze
I can feel every burden escaping; Gone with the wind
I can see time mocking the human race with the secret to immortality at the finish line
I can feel all things beautiful like summer love and sun-kissed skin soaking itself dry of yesterday's pain;
Simply magic.

It's a spring afternoon filled with selfish thoughts and selfless emotions.
Alone but never lonely
My mind soaring through a Moebius strip;
Endless days for endless dreams
It's a moment in time where reality is forgiven,
Where retrograde is a fashion choice and a way of life,
Where the poor feed the rich
And the rich feed their greed,
Where the sick and the old guide the healthy
And the living are slowly dying.

We love and we hate;
All familiar strangers, sharing the same sun and dancing under the same moonlight
Some days are pointless, others a mystery
Some people are a waste of time, others leave us thinking
Too many pipe dreams, and too little time
Living in a countdown I often fear
It's time to master this labyrinth and step into tomorrow's oblivion
Time to live off of nothing but this everlasting wanderlust.
